CHATEAU HAUT BAILLY
Château Haut Bailly has a unique terrior, which is expressed in their wines. The estate dates back to 1461. Located right next to the city of Bordeaux on the banks of the Garoone River, it is one of the most prestigious Cru Classé de Graves.
Haut Bailly's vineyard is 30 hectares. Of that, there is 4 hectares of vines over a hundred years old, comprising of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Carmenére, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. The rest of the estate is planted with 64% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 6% Cabernet Franc. Château Haut Bailly is committed to environmental winemaking, grapes are picked by hand and no chemical weed killers are used.
